Issued 9:30 PM NDT 15 April 2026 Tonight and Thursday At 9:30 p.m. NDT tonight trough located over the Torngat Mountains.
By 9:30 p.m. NDT Thursday trough located east of Labrador Sea.

At 9:30 p.m. NDT tonight departing ridge located on a line
north-south over the East Labrador Sea.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 9:25 PM NDT 15 April 2026 A trough of low pressure over the Torngat Mountains will move
eastward across the Labrador Sea tonight. Strong to gale force
southerlies will continue ahead of the trough, then shift to strong
to gale force west to northwesterlies in its wake.

Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for
North Labrador Coast, South Labrador Sea - northwestern half,
Northwest Labrador Sea, and East Labrador Sea.

Marine interests are also advised that freezing spray warnings are in
effect for South Labrador Sea - northwestern half, Northwest Labrador
Sea, and East Labrador Sea.
