Greenland.
At 4:00 a.m. NDT today trough located on a line northwest-southeast
over the South Labrador Sea.
By 4:00 a.m. NDT Saturday trough located on a line
northeast-southwest over Funk Island Bank.
Marine Weather Statement
Issued 3:48 AM NDT 22 May 2026 A trough of low pressure over the South Labrador Sea will sweepsouthward across southern waters today. Strong to gale force
northwesterlies ahead of the trough will veer to strong to gale force
northerlies to northeasterlies as it passes. Winds will then back to
the northwest as the trough moves further south.
Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for all
waters except Lake Melville.
