Labrador Sea.
At 4:00 a.m. NDT today ridge located over Quebec.
By 4:00 a.m. NDT Monday ridge located over Labrador.
Marine Weather Statement
Issued 3:49 AM NDT 8 March 2026 An intensifying trough of low pressure over the Northwest LabradorSea will slowly track east-northeastward, where it will develop into
a low over the East Labrador Sea and drift north of the district by
early Monday morning. Strong to gale force westerlies to
northwesterlies will develop in the low's wake.
Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for
North Labrador Coast - north of Saglek, Northwest Labrador Sea, and
East Labrador Sea.
Marine interests are also advised that freezing spray warnings are in
effect for the Labrador Sea.
