By 9:30 a.m. NDT Saturday departing low 1007 mb located south
of Greenland.
At 9:30 p.m. NDT tonight building ridge located over Quebec.
By 3:30 p.m. NDT Saturday ridge located over the North Labrador
Coast.
Marine Weather Statement
Issued 3:39 PM NDT 10 April 2026 A low pressure system over the Labrador Sea will track eastwards thisevening while a ridge of high pressure builds over Quebec. Strong to
gale force northwesterly winds will develop over northwestern waters
this evening behind the low.
Marine interests are advised that a gale warning is in effect for
Northwest Labrador Sea.
Marine interests are also advised that freezing spray warnings are in
effect for South Labrador Sea and Northwest Labrador Sea.
