Technical Marine Synopsis

Issued 4:00 AM NST 17 November 2019 Today Tonight and Monday At 4:00 a.m. NST today low 968 mb located south of Greenland.
By 4:00 a.m. NST Monday departing low 961 mb located southeast
of Greenland.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 3:50 AM NST 17 November 2019 An intense low pressure system southeast of the marine district will
move slowly eastward into the Atlantic through the forecast period.
Storm to hurricane force northwesterlies over most waters in the wake
of the low will gradually subside tonight and into Monday as it
recedes.

Marine interests are advised that hurricane force wind warnings are
in effect for South Labrador Coast, Mid Labrador Coast - Hopedale and
south, and East Labrador Sea - southeastern half. Storm warnings are
in effect for all remaining waters except Lake Melville and Mid
Labrador Coast - north of Hopedale where gale warning are in effect.
