Issued 4:00 AM NDT 23 March 2025 Today Tonight and Monday At 4:00 a.m. NDT today low 977 mb located over Belle Isle Bank.
By 4:00 a.m. NDT Monday low 977 mb located over central Labrador
Sea.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 3:56 AM NDT 23 March 2025 A low pressure system will continue to approach the marine district
from the south and will track into the Labrador Sea today where it
will remain nearly stationary throughout the forecast period. Strong
to gale force north to northeasterly winds are expected ahead of the
low. Winds will shift to gale force northwesterlies west of the track
of the low, while gale force southeasterlies are expected to develop
east of track.

Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for all
waters except Lake Melville.

Marine interests are also advised that freezing spray warnings are in
effect for the South Labrador Sea and Northwest Labrador Sea.
