By 9:30 p.m. NST tonight weakening trough located on a line
northeast-southwest over the North Labrador Coast.
At 9:30 p.m. NST tonight low 976 mb located over the Maritimes.
By 9:30 p.m. NST Monday low 976 mb located near Lake Melville.
Marine Weather Statement
Issued 9:19 AM NST 16 November 2025 A trough of low pressure over the South Labrador Sea will continue totrack northwestward today and then weaken over Northern Labrador
tonight. Strong to gale force northeast to southeasterly winds are
expected today and tonight ahead of the trough.
Meanwhile, an intense low pressure system developing over the
Maritimes tonight will approach Labrador Monday night. Strong to gale
force southeast to northeasterly winds will redevelop late Monday,
ahead of this system.
Marine interests are advised that a storm warning is in effect for
East Labrador Sea. Gale warnings are in effect for all remaining
waters except Mid Labrador Coast and North Labrador Coast.
