Labrador Sea.
Marine Weather Statement
Issued 4:06 PM NST 6 December 2024 A low pressure system near Lake Melville will track northeastward tolie over the Labrador Sea by Saturday morning. Gale to storm force
southeast to northeasterlies ahead of the low will shift to strong to
gale force northwest to southwesterlies in its wake.
Marine interests are advised that storm warnings are in effect for
all waters except Lake Melville and South Labrador Coast, where gale
warnings are in effect.
Marine interests are also advised that freezing spray warnings are in
effect for Lake Melville and South Labrador Coast.
