Marine Weather StatementIssued 9:12 PM NDT 28 March 2020 A low pressure system over the Northwest Labrador Sea will move to
lie north of the district on Sunday. Strong to gale force
southeasterlies over eastern waters and gale force northwesterlies
over western waters will persist as the low tracks northwards across
the Labrador Sea tonight. Winds will diminish to moderate to strong
westerlies in the wake of the low on Sunday.
Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for all
waters except Lake Melville and the South Labrador Coast.
Marine interests are also advised that freezing spray warnings are in
effect for South Labrador Sea and Northwest Labrador Sea.
