Technical Marine Synopsis

Issued 9:30 AM NDT 12 September 2026 Today Tonight and Sunday At 9:30 a.m. NDT today low 987 mb located southeast of the Marine
District.
By 9:30 p.m. NDT tonight departing low 989 mb located southeast
of Greenland.

At 4:00 a.m. NDT Sunday approaching trough located over northern
Quebec.

At 9:30 a.m. NDT today ridge located over central Labrador.
By 4:00 a.m. NDT Sunday ridge located over Labrador Sea.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 9:17 AM NDT 12 September 2026 A low pressure system southeast of the marine district will depart to
the east today. Strong to gale force north to northwesterlies over
southernmost waters will diminish today as the low departs.

A trough of low pressure will approach the marine district from the
west tonight. Strong to gale force southeasterlies will develop ahead
of the trough Sunday morning.

Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect South
Labrador Coast and North Labrador Coast.
