Issued 9:30 PM NST 7 December 2021 Tonight and Wednesday At 9:30 p.m. NST tonight low 946 mb located over the northwestern
South Labrador Sea.
By 9:30 p.m. NST Wednesday low 963 mb located southeast of
Greenland.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 9:14 PM NST 7 December 2021 A very intense low pressure system over the Labrador Sea will track
eastward tonight and Wednesday while slowly weakening. Gale to storm
force easterly to northeasterly winds ahead of the low shift to storm
to hurricane force southwesterlies to northwesterlies in its wake.

Marine interests are advised that hurricane force wind warnings are
in effect for all waters except Lake Melville, Mid Labrador Coast -
north of Hopedale, and North Labrador Coast where storm warnings are
in effect.

Marine interests are also advised that freezing spray warnings are in
effect for all waters except the East Labrador Sea.
