At 9:30 a.m. NDT Thursday departing low 993 mb located south of
the East Labrador Sea.
At 9:30 a.m. NDT Thursday ridge located over western Labrador.
By 4:00 p.m. NDT Thursday ridge located over Labrador Sea.
Marine Weather Statement
Issued 9:17 AM NDT 13 May 2026 An intensifying low pressure system east of the Great NorthernPeninsula will track northeastward to lie over Belle Isle Bank later
today and south of the East Labrador Sea on Thursday. Strong to gale
force north to northwesterlies will develop over southern waters
ahead of the low.
Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for
South Labrador Coast, Mid Labrador Coast - Hopedale and south, and
South Labrador Sea.
