By 4:00 a.m. NST Monday low 966 mb located over the Mid Labrador
Coast.
At 4:00 a.m. NST today ridge located on a line northwest-southeast
over Labrador Sea.
By 4:00 p.m. NST today departing ridge located on a line
northwest-southeast over the East Labrador Sea.
Marine Weather Statement
Issued 3:42 AM NST 15 December 2019 An intense low pressure system currently over Southern Quebec willcross Labrador tonight to lie over the Mid Labrador Coast by Monday
morning. Gale to storm force east to southeasterlies will spread
across most waters ahead of this system.
Marine interests are advised that a storm warning is in effect for
the Labrador Sea. Gale warnings are in effect for all remaining
waters except Lake Melville.
Marine interests are also advised that a freezing spray warning is in
effect for Lake Melville.
