Wind west 25 knots with gusts to 35 near fjords. Wind becoming northwest 35 to 45 this morning then diminishing to west 25 this evening. Wind diminishing to variable 10 to 15 late overnight then increasing to northwest 20 near noon Sunday. Wind increasing to northeast 30 Sunday evening.

Periods of snow ending this evening. Snow Sunday morning and afternoon changing to rain. Visibility 1 mile or less in snow.

Issued 4:00 AM NST 10 December 2022 Today Tonight and Sunday At 4:00 a.m. NST today quasi-stationary trough located on a line
northwest-southeast over Labrador Sea.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 3:59 AM NST 10 December 2022 A trough of low pressure will remain nearly stationary over the
Labrador Sea today before moving southwestward on Sunday. Gale force
northwesterlies are expected west of the trough.

Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for Mid
Labrador Coast, North Labrador Coast, South Labrador Sea, and
Northwest Labrador Sea - western half.

Marine interests are also advised that freezing spray warnings are in
effect for all waters except Lake Melville, Northwest Labrador Sea -
eastern half, and East Labrador Sea.
