Technical Marine Synopsis

Issued 9:30 AM NDT 10 October 2026 Today Tonight and Sunday At 9:30 a.m. NDT today low 984 mb located over the East Labrador
Sea.
By 4:00 a.m. NDT Sunday merging low 968 mb located southeast
of Greenland.

At 9:30 a.m. NDT Sunday approaching ridge located over western
Labrador.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 9:20 AM NDT 10 October 2026 A low pressure system over the East Labrador Sea will track
southeastwards today and tonight and merge with another rapidly
intensifying low, which will remain nearly stationary southeast of
Greenland through Sunday. At the same time, a ridge of high pressure
will slowly build towards Labrador from the west. Strong to gale
force northwesterlies will persist over most waters between these
features.

Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for all
waters except Lake Melville and North Labrador Coast.
