By 4:00 a.m. NST Friday trough located southwest of Greenland.
Marine Weather Statement
Issued 9:22 AM NST 23 January 2025 A low pressure system north of the marine district will slowly driftsoutheastward and transition into a trough that will lie southwest of
Greenland by Friday morning. Strong to gale force westerlies are
expected to persist south of this area of low pressure.
Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for all
waters except Lake Melville and East Labrador Sea.
Marine interests are also advised that freezing spray warnings are in
effect for all areas with open water.
