Technical Marine Synopsis

Issued 4:00 PM NST 10 February 2025 Tonight and Tuesday At 4:00 p.m. NST today low 960 mb located east of Funk Island Bank.
By 4:00 p.m. NST Tuesday low 959 mb located over the East Labrador
Sea.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 3:51 PM NST 10 February 2025 An intense low pressure system east of Funk Island Bank will move
northward to lie over the East Labrador Sea by Tuesday afternoon.
Strong to gale force north to northwesterlies ahead of the low will
increase to gale to storm force northwesterlies to the west of the
low, and strong to gale force northeasterlies to its northeast, on
Tuesday.

Marine interests are advised that storm warnings are in effect for
South Labrador Coast, South Labrador Sea, and Northwest Labrador Sea.
Gale warnings are in effect for all remaining waters except Lake
Melville.

Marine interests are also advised that freezing spray warnings are in
effect for the Labrador Sea.
