Issued 4:00 AM NST 8 March 2021 Today Tonight and Tuesday At 4:00 a.m. NST today trough located on a line northeast-southwestover the South Labrador Sea.
By 9:30 p.m. NST tonight departing trough located over Belle
Isle Bank.
At 4:00 a.m. NST today ridge located over Quebec.
By 4:00 a.m. NST Tuesday ridge located on a line northeast-southwest
over Labrador Sea.
Marine Weather Statement
Issued 3:37 AM NST 8 March 2021 A trough of low pressure over the South Labrador Sea will movesoutheastwards today then depart east of Belle Isle Bank tonight.
Strong to gale force northwesterlies in the wake of the trough will
diminish tonight as a ridge of high pressure builds into the Labrador
Sea.
Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect the
Labrador coast, South Labrador Sea, and Northwest Labrador Sea.
Marine interests are also advised that freezing spray warnings are in
effect for South Labrador Coast, Mid Labrador Coast, South Labrador
Sea, and Northwest Labrador Sea.
