By 9:30 a.m. NST Monday trough located over Ungava Bay.
At 9:30 p.m. NST tonight low 976 mb located over the Maritimes.
By 9:30 p.m. NST Monday low 980 mb located near Lake Melville.
Marine Weather Statement
Issued 9:13 PM NST 16 November 2025 A low pressure system over the North Labrador Coast will weaken intoa trough as it track westward tonight to lie over Ungava by Monday
morning. Strong to gale force northeast to southeasterly winds are
expected tonight over northern waters.
Meanwhile, an intense low pressure system over the Maritimes will
approach Labrador Monday night. Strong to gale force southeast to
northeasterly winds will redevelop late Monday, ahead of this system.
Marine interests are advised that a storm warning is in effect for
East Labrador Sea. Gale warnings are in effect for all remaining
waters except Mid Labrador Coast and North Labrador Coast.
