By 9:30 a.m. NDT Sunday quasi-stationary low 989 mb located over
the Northwest Labrador Sea.
Marine Weather Statement
Issued 9:25 AM NDT 19 July 2025 A low pressure system over the South Labrador Sea will track slowlynortheastwards to lie over the East Labrador Sea tonight, and then
become nearly stationary over the Northwest Labrador Sea while
gradually weakening.
Easterly to southeasterly gales ahead of the low become westerly to
northwesterly gales as the low passes. The gales will diminish as the
low weakens overnight and Sunday.
Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for
South Labrador Coast, Mid Labrador Coast, South Labrador Sea, and
East Labrador Sea.
