Technical Marine Synopsis

Issued 4:00 PM NST 2 December 2020 Tonight and Thursday At 4:00 p.m. NST today low 1000 mb located over southern Quebec.
By 4:00 p.m. NST Thursday low 990 mb located near Ungava Bay.

At 4:00 p.m. NST today trough located on a line east-west over
the South Labrador Sea.
By 4:00 p.m. NST Thursday trough located on a line
northwest-southeast over the Northwest Labrador Sea.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 9:25 AM NST 2 December 2020 A trough of low pressure will pivot over the South Labrador Sea and
Mid Labrador Coast today and tonight before moving northwards on
Thursday. Strong to gale force easterlies to the north of the trough
will strengthen to gale to storm force on Thursday as the trough
moves towards to lie over the North Labrador Coast.

Marine interests are advised that a storm warning is in effect for
East Labrador Sea. Gale warnings are in effect for all remaining
waters except Lake Melville and South Labrador Coast.
