Technical Marine Synopsis

Issued 9:30 PM NDT 7 April 2020 Tonight and Wednesday At 9:30 p.m. NDT tonight low 991 mb located 75 miles northeast
of Cartwright.
By 4:00 p.m. NDT Wednesday low 995 mb located south of Lake
Melville.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 9:14 PM NDT 7 April 2020 A low pressure system northeast of Cartwright will move westward to
lie over the Mid Labrador Coast tonight and then southwestward across
Lake Melville on Wednesday. Gale force northeasterly to northwesterly
winds to the north of this system will persist through Wednesday.

Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for Mid
Labrador Coast, North Labrador Coast, Northwest Labrador Sea and East
Labrador Sea.

Marine interests are also advised that a freezing spray warning is in
effect for South Labrador Coast.
