Issued 4:00 AM NST 29 February 2024 Today Tonight and Friday At 4:00 a.m. NST today trough located on a line east-west over
the South Labrador Sea.
By 4:00 a.m. NST Friday departing trough located north of Labrador
Sea.

At 4:00 a.m. NST today trough located west of Labrador.
By 4:00 a.m. NST Friday trough located on a line north-south over
Labrador Sea.

At 4:00 a.m. NST today departing ridge located east of Labrador Sea.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 3:46 AM NST 29 February 2024 A trough of low pressure over South Labrador Sea will track northward
today and depart this evening. Strong to gale force southeasterlies
ahead of the trough will shift to strong to gale force southerlies
behind it. A second trough will cross the marine district tonight and
Friday. Winds will shift to strong to gale force westerlies behind
this trough.

Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for all
waters except Lake Melville.

Marine interests are also advised that freezing spray warnings are in
effect for the Labrador Sea.
