Issued 9:30 PM NDT 15 October 2026 Tonight and Friday At 9:30 p.m. NDT tonight deepening low 984 mb located over central
Funk Island Bank.
By 9:30 p.m. NDT Friday low 975 mb located east of Belle Isle Bank.

At 9:30 p.m. NDT tonight trough located on a line north-south over
the East Labrador Sea.
By 9:30 a.m. NDT Friday weakening trough located east of Labrador
Sea.

At 9:30 p.m. NDT tonight ridge located over southern Quebec.
By 9:30 p.m. NDT Friday ridge located over central Labrador.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 9:16 PM NDT 15 October 2026 A deepening low pressure system will pass southeast of the district
tonight and Friday. Meanwhile, a trough of low pressure will continue
to sweep across the Labrador Sea tonight and weaken east of the
district on Friday. Strong to gale force northerlies to
northwesterlies will spread across most of the district in the wake
of these features tonight.

Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for all
waters except Lake Melville.
