Issued 4:00 PM NDT 20 April 2024 Tonight and Sunday At 4:00 p.m. NDT today ridge located east of the Marine District.

At 4:00 p.m. NDT today low 978 mb located over Ungava Bay.
By 4:00 p.m. NDT Sunday low 990 mb located northeast of Baffin
Island.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 3:53 PM NDT 20 April 2024 An intense low pressure system over Ungava Bay will move to lie
northeast of Baffin Island on Sunday. Strong to gale force
southerlies over most of the district will diminish to moderate to
strong south to southwesterlies as the low moves away.

Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for the
Labrador Sea.
