Wind diminishing to southwest 15 to 20 near midnight except northwest 15 to 20 over northern sections. Wind becoming variable 10 to 15 Saturday morning then increasing to northwest 15 to 20 Saturday afternoon.

By 9:30 p.m. NDT tonight approaching ridge located over Quebec.
Marine Weather StatementIssued 3:59 AM NDT 18 September 2020 A low pressure system over Northwest Labrador Sea will depart to the
east this evening. Gale to storm force southwesterlies to the south
of the low and strong to gale force northwesterlies to its west will
diminish tonight as the low departs.
Marine interests are advised that storm warnings are in effect for
South Labrador Sea and East Labrador Sea. Gale warnings are in effect
for all remaining waters.
