the Northwest Labrador Sea.
At 9:30 a.m. NDT today ridge located over western Labrador.
By 9:30 a.m. NDT Sunday ridge located from the Grand Banks to the
East Labrador Sea.
Marine Weather Statement
Issued 9:23 AM NDT 18 April 2026 A trough of low pressure east of the marine district will move to liesoutheast of Greenland by this evening. Strong to gale force
northwesterlies will gradually diminish today as the trough moves
away.
Marine interests are advised that gale warnings and freezing spray
warnings are in effect for the Labrador Sea.
