Issued 4:00 AM NDT 23 June 2021 Today Tonight and Thursday At 4:00 a.m. NDT today trough located on a line north-south over
the Northwest Labrador Sea.
By 9:30 a.m. NDT today quasi-stationary trough located on a line
north-south over the East Labrador Sea.

At 4:00 a.m. NDT today ridge located over Labrador.
By 4:00 p.m. NDT today quasi-stationary ridge located over the
Northwest Labrador Sea.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 3:56 AM NDT 23 June 2021 A trough of low pressure over the Northwest Labrador Sea will move to
lie over the East Labrador Sea this morning where it will remain
nearly stationary today and tonight. Strong to gale force
southeasterlies can be expected over eastern waters ahead of the
trough this morning, with strong to gale force southwesterlies over
northern waters in its wake. Winds will diminish over all waters
later today as a ridge builds in from the west.

Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for
Northwest Labrador Sea - northern half and East Labrador Sea.
