Technical Marine Synopsis

Issued 9:30 PM NST 4 December 2022 Tonight and Monday At 9:30 p.m. NST tonight weakening low 998 mb located over northern
Labrador Coast.
By 4:00 p.m. NST Monday low 1017 mb located over the Northwest
Labrador Sea.

At 4:00 p.m. NST Monday approaching ridge located over central
Labrador.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 9:15 PM NST 4 December 2022 A weakening low pressure system over the Northern Labrador coast will
track northeastwards tonight then move to lie over the Northwest
Labrador Sea Monday morning. Strong to gale force south to
southeasterly winds ahead of the low will shift to strong westerlies
in its wake.

Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for all
waters except Lake Melville.
