Issued 9:30 PM NDT 20 May 2026 Tonight and Thursday At 9:30 p.m. NDT tonight deepening low 990 mb located over Labrador.
By 9:30 p.m. NDT Thursday low 984 mb located east of Belle Isle
Bank.

At 9:30 a.m. NDT Thursday deepening trough located on a line
north-south over the East Labrador Sea.
By 9:30 p.m. NDT Thursday trough located on a line
northwest-southeast over the South Labrador Sea.

At 9:30 p.m. NDT tonight dissipating ridge located over the East
Labrador Sea.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 9:21 PM NDT 20 May 2026 A deepening low pressure system over Labrador will cross Belle Isle
Bank on Thursday then move southeast of the region Thursday night.
Over southern waters, strong to gale force southeasterlies ahead of
the low will increase to gale force northwesterlies behind it.

Meanwhile, on Thursday, a trough of low pressure extending northward
from the low will move southward across the Labrador Sea. Strong to
gale force northerlies to northwesterlies ahead of the trough veer to
strong to gale force easterlies to northeasterlies as it passes.

Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for all
waters.
