Marine Weather StatementIssued 9:14 PM NST 7 December 2021 A very intense low pressure system over the Labrador Sea will track
eastward tonight and Wednesday while slowly weakening. Gale to storm
force easterly to northeasterly winds ahead of the low shift to storm
to hurricane force southwesterlies to northwesterlies in its wake.
Marine interests are advised that hurricane force wind warnings are
in effect for all waters except Lake Melville, Mid Labrador Coast -
north of Hopedale, and North Labrador Coast where storm warnings are
