By 9:30 p.m. NST Wednesday trough located on a line
northeast-southwest over Belle Isle Bank.
At 4:00 a.m. NST Wednesday approaching low 967 mb located east of
Labrador Sea.
Marine Weather Statement
Issued 9:19 PM NST 5 December 2023 A trough of low pressure located over the Mid Labrador Coast willslowly drift southward to lie over Belle Isle Bank by Wednesday
morning. Strong to gale force easterlies are expected north of the
trough.
A low pressure system is expected to approach the marine district
from the east on Wednesday. Strong to gale force northwesterlies are
expected over most waters west of the low late on Wednesday.
Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for Mid
Labrador Coast and North Labrador Coast.
