Issued 9:30 PM PDT 14 March 2026 Tonight and Sunday At 5:00 a.m. PDT Sunday intensifying warm front located over the
offshore waters.
By 11:00 p.m. PDT Sunday warm front located over the North Coast.

At 11:00 p.m. PDT Sunday weakening cold front located on a line
northeast-southwest over southern Bowie.
By 4:00 p.m. PDT Monday quasi-stationary frontal system located
on a line northeast-southwest over northwestern Explorer.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 9:20 PM PDT 14 March 2026 An intensifying warm front will bring southeast gale to storm force
winds over the offshore waters overnight and spread to northern and
central waters through Sunday. Hurricane force southeasterlies will
develop from the headlands of Vancouver Island to Hecate Strait
Sunday afternoon. Southeast gales will also develop over Northern
Strait of Georgia Sunday afternoon.

As the warm front passes, winds will veer to southwest gales Sunday
afternoon over the offshore waters and Sunday night over the central
waters. The northern waters will see winds diminish to strong
westerlies in the wake of the warm front.

A quasi-stationary front will set up early next week over the central
waters with southwesterly gales over southern waters and strong
westerlies over northern waters.
