Wind southeast 30 to 40 knots diminishing to southwest 20 to 30 early this afternoon except northwest 15 to 25 over northern sections this evening. Wind becoming southeast 10 to 20 early this evening except southeast 30 over northern sections overnight. Wind becoming southeast 20 to 30 Tuesday morning then becoming southeast 25 to 35 Tuesday afternoon. Wind diminishing to southwest 10 to 20 Tuesday evening except southwest 20 to 30 near Qualicum Beach.

Rain changing to scattered showers near noon then to rain near noon Tuesday.

Issued 4:00 AM PST 15 December 2025 Today Tonight and Tuesday At 4:00 a.m. PST today departing low 967 mb located northwest
of Bowie.

At 4:00 a.m. PST today cold front located from the Central Coast
to Explorer.
By 4:00 p.m. PST today departing cold front located over BC
interior.

At 4:00 p.m. PST today trough located west of Bowie.
By 4:00 a.m. PST Tuesday departing trough located over the North
Coast.

At 10:00 a.m. PST Tuesday low 992 mb located over Bowie.
By 4:00 p.m. PST Tuesday low 984 mb located over Haida Gwaii.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 3:40 AM PST 15 December 2025 As the low located northwest of Bowie moves away from the region,
storm force southwesterlies over Northern Bowie will ease this
morning.

A cold front will slide southeastward across the southern waters
today and then move inland this evening. Southerly gales are expected
ahead of the front, while strong to gale force westerly winds will
develop in its wake.

Another trough will cross northern waters tonight bringing gale to
storm force southwesterlies.

The active weather pattern continues on Tuesday with a broad low
producing southerly to westerly gales across most marine regions.
