Issued 10:30 AM PDT 7 August 2020 Today Tonight and Saturday At 10:30 a.m. PDT today trough located on a line north-south over
Haida Gwaii.
By 1:00 p.m. PDT today departing trough located on a line
north-south over the Mainland Coast.

At 9:30 p.m. PDT tonight building ridge located southwest of
Explorer.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 10:19 AM PDT 7 August 2020 A trough of low pressure over Haida Gwaii this morning will reach the
mainland coast by midday. Strong to locally gale force southerly
winds are occurring ahead of the trough near the headlands of
Northern Vancouver Island as well as the Central Coast. Gale force
winds will ease as the trough reaches the coast.
