to the Central Coast.

At 10:30 a.m. PDT today trough located west of Haida Gwaii.
By 9:30 p.m. PDT tonight departing trough located over Hecate
Strait.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 10:22 AM PDT 12 May 2024 A quasi-stationary ridge of high pressure from Explorer and the
Central Coast will continue to bring strong northwesterly winds to
the southern waters.

Westerly gales through Juan de Fuca Strait will redevelop in the
afternoons today and again tomorrow.
