Issued 4:00 PM PST 6 November 2025 Tonight and Friday At 4:00 p.m. PST today low located over northeastern Explorer.
By 9:30 p.m. PST tonight low 983 mb located over northern Vancouver
Island.

At 4:00 a.m. PST Friday building ridge located southwest of the
offshore waters.
By 4:00 p.m. PST Friday ridge located on a line north-south over
Vancouver Island.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 4:02 PM PST 6 November 2025 A frontal system just west of Queen Charlotte Sound will move
eastward to lie over Northern Vancouver Island tonight. Ahead of
The system, gale to storm force southeasterlies are occurring over
most southern waters. Winds will shift to gale to storm force
westerlies over offshore waters this evening in the wake of the
Low.

Another strong front is forecast to arrive Saturday bringing storm
force winds to central and northern waters.
