Coast.
At 4:00 a.m. PST Saturday frontal system located off Bowie.
By 4:00 p.m. PST Saturday frontal system located over Haida Gwaii
extending southward.
Marine Weather Statement
Issued 10:32 AM PST 5 March 2021 A low pressure centre off Cape Scott will move onto the Central Coastthis evening. Ahead of the low, gale to storm force southeasterlies
over west coast Vancouver Island will spread to the Queen Charlotte
Sound and the Central Coast this afternoon as the low approaches.
Southeast gales over the inner South Coast will ease this afternoon.
Winds off Vancouver Island and the Central Coast will persist through
this evening before easing.
Southeast gales will develop over most marine waters on Saturday as
another front approaches.
