Issued 4:00 PM PST 17 November 2025 Tonight and Tuesday At 4:00 p.m. PST today ridge located from Hecate Strait to Explorer.
By 4:00 p.m. PST Tuesday ridge located on a line north-south over
Vancouver Island.

At 4:00 p.m. PST today cold front located over Bowie.
By 4:00 a.m. PST Tuesday weakening cold front located over Haida
Gwaii.

At 9:30 p.m. PST Tuesday approaching frontal system located west
of the offshore waters.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 3:59 PM PST 17 November 2025 A cold front moving from Bowie will weaken as it crosses Haida Gwaii
tonight. Strong to gale force southerly winds over Bowie and
Northwestern Haida Gwaii will ease early this evening.

An intense frontal system will approach the offshore waters late
Tuesday. Southeast gales ahead of this system are forecast to reach
storm force on Wednesday.
