Marine Weather StatementIssued 9:27 PM PDT 28 July 2021 A ridge of high pressure west of Vancouver Island and strong day-time
heating over the BC Interior is driving strong to gale force inflow
winds through Juan de Fuca and strong to gale force northwesterly
winds through Johnstone Strait this evening.
Winds are forecast to ease after midnight but strong to gale force
winds are expected to return Thursday evening.
