Coast.
By 10:30 a.m. PDT today weakening trough located from Explorer to
the Central Coast.

At 4:00 p.m. PDT today ridge located off Bowie.
By 4:00 p.m. PDT Wednesday ridge located from Explorer to the
Central Coast.

At 4:00 a.m. PDT Wednesday trough located off Bowie.
By 4:00 p.m. PDT Wednesday trough located on a line
northeast-southwest over Bowie.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 3:30 AM PDT 17 September 2024 A trough will weaken as it track southwards across Vancouver Island
today. Ahead of the trough, moderate to strong westerlies will shift
to strong to gale force northwesterlies in its wake this morning.
Winds will gradually ease late in the day today.
