By 4:00 p.m. PDT Friday ridge located from Explorer to the North
Coast.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 10:12 PM PDT 24 July 2024 Ahead of a ridge of high pressure, gale force westerlies through Juan
de Fuca Strait will ease overnight.

Additionally, conditions are favourable for the possible development
of waterspouts over Central Coast late this evening, and Strait of
Georgia - south of Nanaimo overnight and early Thursday morning.
