Wind diminishing to light this evening then increasing to northerly outflow 15 to 25 near midnight. Wind diminishing to southerly inflow 10 to 15 Wednesday morning then increasing to northerly outflow 15 to 25 Wednesday evening.

Issued 4:00 AM PDT 16 April 2024 Today Tonight and Wednesday At 4:00 a.m. PDT today ridge located west of the offshore waters.
By 10:30 a.m. PDT Wednesday ridge located on a line north-south
over Haida Gwaii.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 9:22 PM PDT 15 April 2024 A ridge of high pressure well offshore has spread moderate to strong
northwesterlies across BC waters and will slowly approach the BC
coast.

Gale force westerlies over Juan de Fuca Strait will ease overnight.
