Issued 4:00 PM PST 17 February 2026 Tonight and Wednesday At 4:00 p.m. PST today quasi-stationary trough located west of
Vancouver Island.

At 4:00 p.m. PST today quasi-stationary ridge located over BC
interior.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 3:59 PM PST 17 February 2026 Gale force north or northwesterlies over the offshore waters will
continue through late Wednesday.

An Arctic high pressure ridge over Northern BC will remain stationary
over the BC Interior. Gale force outflow winds, with the potential of
freezing spray, can be expected through the mainland inlets along the
north and Central Coast from tonight through Thursday morning.
Outflow winds will periodically reach storm force northeasterlies
through the Central Coast inlets tonight and Wednesday.
