Technical Marine Synopsis

Issued 9:30 PM PDT 19 October 2019 Tonight and Sunday At 9:30 p.m. PDT tonight frontal system located over western Bowie.
By 10:30 a.m. PDT Sunday frontal system located from the North
Coast to Vancouver Island.

At 4:00 a.m. PDT Sunday low located over northern Bowie.
By 4:00 p.m. PDT Sunday weakening low located over Haida Gwaii.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 9:29 PM PDT 19 October 2019 A frontal system will cross the offshore waters late this evening and
eventually lie stretched from Hecate Strait to Queen Charlotte Sound
to Southern Explorer by Sunday morning. The front will progress into
the inner South Coast by midday Sunday. Gale force southeast winds
will accompany the front then switch to gale force westerlies in its
wake.
