north-south over central Vancouver Island.

At 4:00 a.m. PDT today low 978 mb located over northwestern Bowie.
By 4:00 p.m. PDT today departing low located over northwestern
Bowie.

At 4:00 p.m. PDT Wednesday building ridge located from Explorer
to the Central Coast.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 3:34 AM PDT 4 June 2024 Remnants of a frontal system will track across the South Coast this
morning. Ahead of the front, southeast gales over the inner South
Coast will ease this morning.

The associated low centre will remain over Northwestern Bowie today.
Ahead of the low, strong to gale force southeasterlies will shift to
strong to gale force southwesterlies in its wake.
