By 4:00 p.m. PDT Saturday ridge located from the North Coast
to Explorer.
At 4:00 a.m. PDT Saturday frontal system located over western Bowie.
By 4:00 p.m. PDT Saturday frontal system located over Haida Gwaii.
Marine Weather Statement
Issued 9:20 PM PDT 11 July 2025 A ridge of high pressure is developing over the southern waters. Thisis generating gale force westerly winds this evening through the
central and eastern sections of Juan de Fuca Strait.
A frontal system will approach the northern waters on Saturday and
reach Haida Gwaii Saturday afternoon. Strong to gale force
southerlies can be expected ahead of the system in Northern Hecate
Strait and Dixon Entrance East on Saturday afternoon.
