Wind increasing to southeast 25 to 35 Sunday afternoon and to southeast 35 to 45 Sunday evening.
Drizzle and fog patches changing to rain this morning then to showers near midnight. Rain Sunday afternoon and evening. Visibility 1 mile or less in fog patches and in precipitation.

southern Alaska panhandle.
At 4:00 a.m. PST today building ridge located over northern BC
interior.
By 4:00 p.m. PST today weakening ridge located over northern
BC interior.
At 4:00 p.m. PST today trough located southwest of Explorer.
By 7:00 a.m. PST Sunday weakening trough located over Hecate Strait.
At 7:00 a.m. PST Sunday frontal system located west of Bowie.
By 12:30 a.m. PST Monday frontal system located from Queen Charlotte
Sound to Explorer.
Marine Weather Statement
Issued 3:47 AM PST 13 December 2025 An Arctic ridge of high pressure will strengthen over the interior ofBritish Columbia today, bringing gale force northeast outflow winds
through inlets along the north and Central Coast. Local moderate
freezing spray near Portland inlets this morning.
A low pressure system over waters west of Bowie will track
northeastward into the Southern Alaska Panhandle by this evening.
South to southwest gale force winds will spread across the northern
waters, central waters and northern portion of the inner South Coast
today.
A trough will move across Explorer into Hecate Strait through Sunday
morning. Gale force southwesterly winds are expected across the
central waters and northern waters.
Another frontal system will approach Bowie and move eastward onto the
coast Sunday afternoon. Gale to storm force southerly winds are
expected over most waters on Sunday into Monday.
