Wind southeast 15 to 25 knots except light near the coast south of Tofino tonight and southeast 35 northwest of Estevan Point Monday morning. Wind becoming southeast 30 near noon Monday then diminishing to southeast 20 late Monday afternoon. Wind diminishing to variable 5 to 15 early Monday evening then increasing to northwest 15 to 25 late Monday evening.

Rain changing to showers Monday evening.

By 1:00 p.m. PDT Monday weakening frontal system located from
Hecate Strait to Tofino.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 9:19 PM PDT 7 June 2026 A frontal system over Haida Gwaii is generating southerly gales over
northern and central waters. These southerly gales will diminish
Monday morning as the frontal system stalls off the coast from Hecate
Strait to the west coast of Vancouver Island and weaken.
