Issued 4:00 AM PDT 19 September 2024 Today Tonight and Friday At 4:00 a.m. PDT today weakening trough located on a linenortheast-southwest over northern Explorer.
At 4:00 p.m. PDT today building ridge located west of Bowie.
By 4:00 p.m. PDT Friday ridge located from Explorer to the Central
Coast.
At 4:00 a.m. PDT Friday frontal system located off Bowie.
By 4:00 p.m. PDT Friday frontal system located on a line north-south
over eastern Bowie.
Marine Weather Statement
Issued 3:33 AM PDT 19 September 2024 Ahead of a ridge of high pressure, strong to gale force northwesterlywinds will develop over West Vancouver Island - south this evening
and ease early Friday morning.
An approaching frontal system will track across Haida Gwaii Thursday
evening and onto the North Coast on Friday. Ahead of the front,
southerly gales will develop over Bowie Friday morning and then
spread to northern waters in the afternoon and evening.
