By 11:00 a.m. PDT Monday trough located on a line north-south over
northern Explorer.

Issued 10:28 AM PDT 17 May 2026 A trough over northern waters is generating southeast gales overNorthwest Haida Gwaii. The trough will shift eastward generating
southeasterly gales over Dixon Entrance East and northern sections of
Hecate Strait beginning this evening. Winds will weaken early Monday
morning.
